Being invited to participate as a moderator or panelist at exclusive family office conferences and investment summits is one of the key indicators that a wealth management firm is considered a ‘premier provider’ by the industry. Northland Wealth has been fortunate to have been invited to a number of these events over the last year and we wish to share with you some of the events we have spoken at, and will be speaking at, in the near future.
Last month, at the Opal Canadian Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum held in Vancouver, Northland Wealth was asked to moderate a panel discussion entitled Real Estate Investing – Exploring Cross Border Opportunities. Here we were able to share our insights and experience in regards to strategic investments in the Canadian and U.S. real estate market.
Later this month, Arthur Salzer, CEO & CIO will be speaking at the FT Investment Management Summit which is held at the NY Stock Exchange. This event is produced by the Financial Times newspaper and is “designed to gather pre-eminent public and private sector decision-makers, visionaries and strategists from the world’s most important economies and industries for a wide range of interactive, agenda-setting programmes that combine the power of on-site discussion and networking with the flexibility of live-streamed and on-demand broadcasting”. We are proud of this unique achievement as this is the first time any Canadian firm has been asked to participate in this prestigious event.
In November, Northland Wealth Management will be moderating a panel discussion with 3 other leading global family offices at the upcoming Campden North American Family Office Conference, held in Boston. The discussion, entitled Families Embracing the Future, which follows the Chatham House Rule, is designed for participants to share their concerns for the future and how they are positioning their family’s wealth accordingly. This exclusive and by invitation only event is the leading, private meeting for ultra-affluent families in North America, and offers a compelling combination of peer-to-peer learning and networking for family office principals and executives.
The valuable information and insight gathered at these events allows us to enhance our offering while working towards achieving your family’s desired goals. We look forward to sharing summaries of these presentations with you on our website, future editions of The Artisan and in our upcoming meetings.
